The U11's won the Eldon Celtic Xmas Tournament after a nailbiting final victory over New Windsor. After a goalles match it went down to penalties and the boys won 6-5 after 11 penalties each. Great effort from our keeper to keep out 5 of the 6 missed penalties and I promise I am not biased.

Away v Sandhurst Dec 26th OFF « Result #10 on Dec 24, 2009, 4:42pm »
Yes, honestly. The match at Sandhurst, along with a few others locally, has been postponed. Shares in Johnson & Johnson have rocketed on the news as investors gamble on sales of cotton wool to reach record levels as the whole of UK society is gradually wrapped up in it.
Reading the NLM forum, a lot of hoppers are getting their fix in Belgium and Germany where, despite temperatures reaching -9 and with snow and ice on the pitches they still get on with it.

Are we gonna dust off the lines and get out the orange balls?
In keeping with the weather here's a nice little video of football in Greenland complete with collapsing iceberg for pre-match entertainment (it was probably summer but it's still bleedin cold!) - http://sermitsiaq.gl/tv/article93983.ece
If those games can go ahead in those conditions then there's still hope.
If the game is called off it will be announced on here and Twitter as soon as it's known. If nothing appears on either then it's game on!
I doubt there'll be much on in the area but the ref has inspected the Woking pitch and says he's happy for the game to go ahead and it won't need another inspection until he gets to the ground at 1pm. Might have a little gander over there if ours is off....

Re: And another one goes « Result #28 on Dec 16, 2009, 8:12am »
It is a realt disgrace AGAIN. Any new side should start at the lowest level of Senior football and if that is Step 6 so be it. Football Authorities have to stop this fecking rubbish carrying on and I am afraid it does bring in our new neighbours. Lets go bust and we only go down 1 or 2 leagues. I work for a company who operate one of their businesses in Kings Lynn and I am aware of at least 2 local businesses who have lost money with Kings Lynn going.
Be interesting to see if the Football Foundation are going to support the development of Krooner or if they just give money to boom and bust merchants who fail to pay their taxes.
What I don't get is why, if this fella is prepared to put the money into the playing squad and ground, he doesn't just pay the debts they owe and carry on from where they are? I know it's too late now but the entire debts were, allegedly, only £150000. That's just a few weeks turnover for them. Their average league crowd this season was 840 and they were one of the most expensive step 3 clubs to watch - £10 standing, £12 sitting for adults. With that sort of money coming in regularly it all sounds like they've gone under too easily or there's something else going on in the background. Even if it meant doing a Weymouth and putting out youngsters for the rest of the season to slash the wage bill it would only have resulted in a one division drop at worst and the debts could possibly have been paid off.
Still - I don't suppose it's any of our business how other clubs are run. Don't want to steer this into a discussion of our near neighbours!

A 6-0 win, and if you asked anyone before a game if they would take that, they would say yes, however, without being harsh, the team can play a lot better than they did last night. But let's look at the positives - we got an early goal after 4 mins when Connor Bloomfield hit a good cross field pass to Jacob Peace, who controlled the ball and shot past the keeper to make it 1-0. On 8mins Josh Gostage hit the bar, but by then we should already have scored our 2nd and then Josh managed to hit the post after 16 mins. It was pretty much one way traffic, but chances were not taken and it wasn't until the 27 min when a well taken corner by Jacob was struck home by the leaping Josh to make it 2-0. We then had to wait until the 39 min for the 3rd when good work by Connor on the left created a tap in for Tom Hickey. Then, as the half time whistle approached a Connor corner eventually came to Zane Percival for another close range tap home to make it 4-0 at half time. The football in the second half had better structure to it and Cove managed to organise better so the football itself was little more even, but after 74 mins Zane scored his second with a real stiker's goal when he turned the defender and struck a great low left foot drive into the bottom corner of the net. It then took until the 89 minute for the final goal, when shere perseverance by Zane not to give up on the edge of the penalty area eventually gave him his hat trick to make it 6-0. So, some good goals and some well worked set plays. Also good to see the substitutes making good contributions in the play, but overall, as the school report says " can do better". We move on.

Away at Leighton Town « Result #36 on Dec 13, 2009, 1:29pm »
A very entertaining game again from the reserves, however, it was deja vu as far as the first half was concerned with Camberley sqaundering chances and for the 2nd week running regretting it at the final whistle. The football was good from both teams as you would hope in a clash of 2 teams in the top 3rd of the division, but the half time score of 0-0 was not reward for the play by our team against a Leighton team that had 3 or 4 1st teamer dropped in at the last minute as their match was postponed. In the 2nd half they upped their game and made us pay and they were the stronger team in this half, but a draw at the end would have been a fairer reflection of the match - but it was not to be. 2 down in the first 15 mins after the break we had to play catch-up and we made a pretty good attempt, but just fell short. The goals came from John Ashford who was in thr right place for a tap in after Ian Messenger's free kick was parried; Rob Lance broke free and deceived the keeper with his scuffed shot, and lastly the "free scoring" Ian Messenger drilled home a great low free kick - one of 3 great free kicks he had in a very good personal performance. Much to be appreciated in the team performance with youngsters also coming off the bench and doing well, just a bit disappointing that we couldn't grab the advantage, which I think would have seen a different result. A good first half to the season with a good spirit about the squad, who have earnt a good Christmas break.

Home v Molesey 12/12 « Result #37 on Dec 12, 2009, 7:09pm »
A 1-1 draw. Entertaining game. They went 1-0 up after 8 minutes . After that it was pretty much all Camberley although Molesey did create a few chances of their own. They had a bloke sent off after 41 minutes. It was hardly suprising as the ref was blowing up for a lot of things that other refs might have let go. We got our fair share of yellows as well. Having said that, my personal view was that he wasn't too bad. We've had worse this season. The Molesey fans won't agree with me on that! We had the majority of play in the second half. Ronnie Green scored a great goal in the 61st minute but, despite being all over Molesey for much of the game, we couldn't get the winner. Credit to the Molesey fans, players and committee - a good bunch of people. Next game is away to Guildford in the league on Wednesday night.
It seems to have provoked quite a bit of heated debate in the comments section including comparing Coca-Cola to Nazi Germany. There's me thinking it was of those throw-away 'and finally' type stories.

Re: ACL v Farnborough 10/12 « Result #39 on Dec 11, 2009, 10:00am »
Sitting in the stand for the second game, it is surprising how much more you can take from the game. Camberley pressed the ball very well in the first half, and despite Farnborough looking more comfortable on the ball, Camberley worked for their possesion. Camberley took the lead around 16 minutes, when Ryan's goal kick was strong, it lead to the ball being slipped through to Kieran, who despite having 4 players around him managed to find the composure to slot the ball into the keepers bottom right corner.
After the goal Boro had a lot more of the ball, but the possesion wasn't valuable and there weren't many chances created. Carey had the best chance when he beat the offside trap, only to see his effort bounce off the post. Farnborough equalised with what was a very good goal. Maderner volleying the ball into the net from all of 35 yards, getting the right amount of dip on the shot to be Howells.
In the second half Camberley came out fighting and worked harder than they have done before. Camberley took control of the game and got the goal their efforts deserved, centre back Ben Hinks headering in a Tom O'Reilly corner for his first goal of the season. It must be said after the goal Camberley were holding out for the win, but the lead could have been increased had Homewood's audacious effort outwitted the keeper, but their keeper got back to his line quickly.
From the stands you could see that Camberley were pressing the ball in all the correct area's, not letting their "superstars" dwell on the ball. Farnborough's passing in the second half was slack, and their only real effort came from Carter who drove the ball towards the top corner, but Howells matched the shot with an equally good save.
Camberley's efforts deserved the win, and hopefully they can take this confidence forward into the next game before Christmas.
Well Done to all, especially Joe Pantony who made his debut and played very well.

I only saw the first half, but I thought it was the best I've seen the team play this season, and I don't agree that Farnborough dominated the half, in my view 1-1 was a fair reflection of the 45 mins. I do agree that I thought Farnborough would get better and be stronger in the 2nd half, but credit to the Camberley team for getting a great result.

Yeah good game to watch. Farnborough dominated the 1st half but we scored a good goal to take the lead. Farnborough scored a fantastic equaliser and to be fair they deserved to be ahead at the break. At ht I thought Farnborough would go on to win as they looked the stronger side. But our guys came out and gave every ounce of energy they had in them and we retook the lead with a great header from a corner and despite some hairy moments at the end held on for the win. As VP said Farnborough had some good players but I have to say the energy, commitment and passion shown by all our guys was outstanding. Keep it up lads.

We won 2-1. Happy days. Good game to watch - Boro have some decent players but then so do we! Gotta say the goal of the game was scored by the visitors though. I'm sure Elnino will provide a decent report shortly. That was only the second time Farnborough Elite [sic] have lost this season - the other time being to Cheltenham in the FA Youth Cup. We're back on top of the table but it's very tight up there - six points seperating the the top five with some teams having games in hand on us. Next ACL game is against Cove on Wednesday 16th. Note that it will be played at Hartley Wintney FC due to Cove's pitch problems.

I was just looking at the mileage charts of the two step 4 leagues that cover this area. http://www.mikeavery.co.uk/MapsFrontPage.htm In the Isthmian League Fleet have to travel a total of 1185 miles this season (average of 56 miles per game). In the Southern League Bracknell have to go 1267 miles in total (60 miles per game on average). Not a great deal of difference and, bearing in mind the roads west are generally less crowded than the M25, it may actually take less time for Bracknell to get to their games than Fleet.

Re: And another one goes « Result #50 on Dec 9, 2009, 8:25pm »
I don't think Kings Lynn have been chasing the dream. They're currently in the same league they were in in 1980! They've been up and down and to and fro for years now so i think they're at their natural level. This isn't unexpected - they've been the subject of discussion on NLM since they failed to upgrade their ground last season. They had a season's notice but did nothing so got relegated. Some of their fans saw through the BS spread by the committee at this time and they've not been too happy by the way the club's been run lately. No doubt they will form a new 'AFC' style club for next season - maybe in the Eastern League div 1. Good luck to them - they've got the fanbase to sustain Conference North (or South) football.
Difficult thing to judge. Sad that fans have lost their club or hope that it may make people think twice before sinking funds in that cannot be either sustained or supported.
Stop chasing an impossible dream and actually find your level and stick at it and try and grow in small steps.

Don't diagree with any of the above, they give the flavour of what went on quite accurately. We had the upper hand throughout the first half and finally got some reward when Sean Davies was felled by the keeper after 20 mins and converted the spot kick himself. At this point we had already squandered several clear chances and we continued to do so until Tring got a heavily deflected equaliser from a speculative long shot after 35 mins. So, 1-1 at half time was a real disappointment, but we only had ourselves to blame. Some slight tactical changes for the second half and a more even run of play, which almost inevitably lead to us regretting the missed opportunities in the first half when they snatched the equaliser after 61 mins. 2 points dropped has to be thought - some very good football in the approach play, but in the end it's worth nothing without the goals on the end. We move on.

If reporting the ref ever made the slightest bit of difference it might be worth doing. That's true in all leagues - I did it myself once in the Sunday league and got the response 'the referee's one of our more senior officials and we can't afford to lose him'. That was the end of the matter as far as the league were concerned. If the referee's made an error in law then surely that's grounds for having the match replayed - it's happened before at this level last season. However, I'm not suggesting the club push for a rematch as it's probably not worth it. The ref will probably say he gave the yellow for 'unsporting behaviour'.
Re: Home v Tring Athletic « Result #66 on Dec 5, 2009, 7:06pm »
Spot on GB, how we did not go in at least 4 up at half time I still cannot work out, the second half was more even, however the Referee had a say in the final outcome which really was a fiasco with very little help forthcoming from his assistants (linesmen).

Re: Away to NGU « Result #67 on Dec 5, 2009, 6:59pm »
Excellent all-round team performance. NGU didn't offer much in the first half - we were sharper, created more chances and were the better side. Joe Paris scored a lovely goal in the 18th minute after some good build up play to put us 1-0 up at HT. I expect NGU got a right rollicking at half time and were better in the second half but they lacked the finishing touch up front. We scored our second in the 61st minute through Ronnie Green and worked our little hearts out to preserve that lead with some first class defending helped by JG being in top form. NGU had a player sent off with less than one second remaining which caused a bit of an outcry amongst their people. As soon as we'd taken the free-kick the ref blew for full time.
Newcastle and Rochdale both won so, for the second Saturday on the trot, all three teams are top of their tables. Am I dreaming?
Next up is the Surrey Senior Cup game at Croydon on Wednesday. I can't make it cos of work but will try and update whatever news I get on Twitter.

Not actually sure how the Reserves lost this. Well I do we missed a hatful and only have ourselves to blame.
As an aside and as a referee myself I feel I have to comment. The referee really needs to look at himself and how he goes about his business. How on earth the Tring keeper did not get sent off when he conceded the penalty is beyond me. But that paled into insignificance to his decision in the 2nd half. The Tring skipper clearly thumped Barney in the face. Now that is all he did. So the referee saw it or did not see it. He blew his whistle, pulled the Tring skipper, and cautioned him. A disgrace. It would have been more believeable if he hadnt taken any action because he hadnt seen it. It is now the clubs responsibility to report the match referee. No point complaining about him and doing nothing about it.

Never mind that. The Ash fans letting off flares behind the goal and singing were a joy to behold. Our old friend Chaz was barely noticeable. A few 'f' words chucked in for good measure just to upset the doddering old fools (it didn't work as us old fools aren't upset that easily) reminded me of the good old days in the 1980's when a few of us used to sing our hearts out and offend and upset the locals (remember Crockenhill away GB? They had a doddering old fool having a go at us for using an air horn ). Great stuff. I seem to remember we had a swiss roll fetish rather than flares though. How times have changed!
Back to the important stuff on saturday. And it is important. Away to second placed North Greenford. Please, please try and get to the game to support the fellas. More words of wisdom from the great sage......
Just been reading that the cinema have re-applied for a licence to sell alcohol. They dropped the last application due to complaints from residents. The latest report says:- This latest application has again been met with resistance from residents’ associations, whose members said they did not want to see any more licensed premises in the town.
No comment from me on that but I was reading another thing a couple of days ago. There's a new Camberley history book out by Mary Ann Bennett (with pictures supplied by Camberley Printers) which is mentioned on the BBC Surrey website. One line under image 7 in the slideshow interested me - At one point there were 15 public houses between the Cambridge Hotel & The Lamb
And please don't tell me in those days people only had half a shandy and bade each other farewell with a doff of the hat - they were just as drunk as today's lot. If not more so.
By the mid-1870s alcohol consumption reached its peak, with an average of 344 gallons of beer consumed per individual per year.

Re: Away v Chesham 28/11 « Result #82 on Nov 29, 2009, 2:00pm »
A good result against a good team featuring 2 or 3 1st team players. We started the brighter and had a strong penalty claim turned down after only 2 mins. But 10 mins laters that was put right when Ian Messenger struck a shot from the edge of the box that hit the back of the net (witha little help from a deflection), to make it 1-0, and deservedly so at that stage. This did spur Chesham on and 5 mins later they created a well worked goal with quick passing on the edge of the box that gave their striker a chance he didn't miss. 1-1. This could have been a point where the home team took the upper hand, but after 5 mins of adjusting ot the level score, we came right back at them and started to dictate play again. The scores stayed l;evel to half time, but we were unlucky when a shot by Luke hit the post and rebound fell straight to the keeper who didn't really know where the ball was. So, aftert the break is was all to play for by both sides with neither at that stage being the obvious potential winner. But after 57 mins Sean Davies struck a sweet corner and Paul Dadson rose "salmon-like" just inside the penalty area to head home and make it 2-1. From this point Camberley got stronger and after 73 mins Chesham failed to clear their lines from another corner, with ball arriving at the foot of Luke Taylor who hit a rocket of a shot into the net to make it 3-1. Chesham rallied in the last 10 mins but Kris Hatton in goal was equal to their best effort and that's how it ended. A good game to watch and some very good football on show. The best full game performance form the reserves this season. Well done to all. I am sure the home teram would have expected to win this with their team selection, but that was not to be.

The joys of going to away games « Result #83 on Nov 29, 2009, 1:46pm »
You've gotta feel for the Hemel Hempstead fans. From the non league forum here's the tale of their day trip to Truro and back yesterday:-
Five intrepid travelling Tudors: 6.00am start from Hemel station - train delayed at Paddington for 20 mins, then "extra" stops added when we reach the West Country. Arrive Truro 30 mins late - now raining. Walk to nearby Swan Inn (400 yards) - grotty pub, never believe internet reviews again. Raining more heavily now as we trundle up steep and long Chaple Hill to ground - £10.00 to get in, £2.00 prog, large puddles in goalmouth. Referee arrives and chucks ball around for a while (rain now p*ssing down) and calls game off at 2.15pm (now too late to get to another ground if one on) Entry money refunded but with four hours to kill before pre-booked train home, its beers then a taxi to town centre for a mooch around in the rain (lovely). Train leaves on time at 6.22pm then the fun starts. Train forced to go slow all the way to Devon because of weather, then held for 30 mins at Taunton because of problems on the track ahead. Seven "Extra" stops then added before Bristol to cover cancelled trains. Another delay at Swindon as we wait for Police to arrive and stop p*ssed up Bath egg chasers from rucking each other. Train stopped at Didcot because thieves have nicked the signal cable and all lights to London are at Red. Eventually limp into Paddington at 3.00am after further delays at Reading and Slough (1 1/2 hours from Slough to Paddington). All underground trains and services from Euston to Hemel now stopped. Queue up for an hour (along with 300 others) for taxis at Great Western's expense, back to Hemel crushed into a black cab (£200) Arrive home to bed 5.00am

Home v Hanworth Villa 28/11 « Result #85 on Nov 28, 2009, 7:18pm »
We won 4-1. One of the more entertaining games of the season. Shots aplenty from both sides and, unlike the last couple of games, a great dealof them were on target. Some good goals as well, including theirs. MoM Darren Redwood who, I have to say, has done really well since accidentally starting for us a few games ago.
Home to Ash on Tuesday in the Aldershot Senior Cup. KO 7.45pm. Entry cost to be confirmed but it will be at least £1 cheaper than normal. Full details on Monday. The winners are away to Farnborough or Bagshot in the next round. They play their match at Cherrywood Road on Tuesday 22nd December.

Update - the away game at Hemel Hempstead has now disappeared from the League's website so it looks like we're without a game that week unless something crops up.

ACL vs Alton « Result #89 on Nov 27, 2009, 4:41pm »
The young Krooners lost 2-1 to Alton in a game which could have been a lot different had chances been converted.
With Oakley fracturing his arm earlier in the day leaving him out until after Christmas, the team had a little reshuffle. Carey coming back into the team and Booth starting up top.
Alton led 2-0 at the break through goals which could have easily been avoided, nevertheless both good finishes.
Camberley went all out attack in the second half, Tom O'Reilly getting the consolation goal 10 minutes from time. Osbourne and Carey both had good chances but failed to hit the target. A much improved second half performance, but a disappointing result.

Re: SYL home v Croydon Athletic 23/11 « Result #92 on Nov 25, 2009, 9:41am »
I wasn't at the game, but from talking to others that were, sounds like a fair summary. There were players missing, but that's what a squad is for and whilst we may have got closer, the result sounds as if it would still have been the same. But not to be disheartened, they train everyday, so it was a good performance.

Away v Badshot Lea 24/11 « Result #94 on Nov 24, 2009, 10:51pm »
"Shocking", "the worst we've had this season", "an embarrassment to the league" - just some of the comments about the ref tonight from Badshot Lea, and they won 2-0! Our comments are probably best left unpublished. You know when you go to a game and people say the ref spoiled it, well tonight wasn't like that - he was so bad that he actually provided quite good entertainment and actually added to the game. The game itself wasn't too bad considering the wind was howling down the pitch at times. Badshot Lea scored after four minutes - I didn't see the incident myself (but then I'm not on £20 an hour to spot such things unlike the ref and lino who were right by the incident) but all the Camberley contingent said it was handball, all the Badshot Lea contingent kept quiet. Shades of the Terry Henry incident? They scored again after ten minutes which was a great goal. No doubt wind assisted, but it flew into the net in an area where most goalies would struggle to get at it. A bit like the goal Croydon scored against us on Saturday really. We upped our play after that but fighting against the wind was hard work. I thought we may be able to make use of the conditions in the second half but, again like the Croydon game, we had loads of possession, a few shots, but nothing that really troubled their keeper although Barney had a punt from way out which rattled the crossbar in the second half. Both teams had a player sent off for two yellows. Both were harsh in my opinion. I think someone tallied up the yellow card count as nine. Some were obvious and well deserved, some weren't. There was one incident that amused me on one level but shocked me on another - their number 7 got a knock on his head which resulted in him bleeding from the ear region but play continued. He was shouting at the ref that he had a head injury and play should stop but he was standing up and could have walked the three yards off the pitch to receive treatment if he really wanted to. In fact, in my (semi) professional opinion, he should have walked off the pitch straight away to get proper treatment as it was a potentially serious injury. When it became obvious the ref wasn't interested he decided to sit down on the pitch to force the issue. He carried on a few minutes later but it just showed that the ref couldn't deal with anything properly. Hopefully both teams will report this incompetant official and get him kicked off the league. There was an assessor there as well which may help. If a player had had as bad a game as the ref tonight then I doubt he would be playing at this level for much longer.
Other results tonight? I don't care apart from the mighty Dale beating Notts County 2-1.

Away at Bedfont - League Cup « Result #95 on Nov 24, 2009, 7:42am »
In blustery conditions on a sticky pitch it was difficult to see this being a classic, but the first half was pretty even with Camberley putting in a solid performance against a strong Bedfont team. Camberley opened the scoring after 8 mins when Rob Lance won a penalty after good work by Chris Roderick in the box. Paul Dadson strode forward to bury the spot kick. Much of the play from that point featured Bedfont trying to unpick Camberley's defence, but not really having the answer, ubtil the 35 minute when their very quick forwards managed to get behind on the left and cut the ball back to level the score. So, 1-1 at the break with Camberley just shading it in terms of quality of play. After the break Bedfont managed to up their game and move the ball with a lot better quality and it after 48 mins they got their 2nd when camberley were caught pressing too high a line and were simply beaten for pace through the middle. The 3rd came after 66 mins when we were agin caught by a fast break away and a great cross and very well taken goal. We had our chances late on, through Luke Taylor and Josh Daniels, but it wasn't to be. Overall not a bad performance in difficult conditions against a good team, with several youngsters in the team showing potential for the future and a welcome return to form by Chris Roderick in the centre of the park.

SYL home v Croydon Athletic 23/11 « Result #96 on Nov 23, 2009, 11:18pm »
We lost 4-0 so the possibility of an SYL v ACL semi final has disappeared. Croydon Athletic are good. They play at a higher level than us and haven't lost a league game yet this season but the scoreline flattered them a bit tonight I feel. They were the better side in the first half and went in 3-0 up mainly due to being just too fast for us up front. They were offside a number of times but, if they'd just timed their runs a bit better they could have been running away with it. We had chances ourselves but, when we did get the shots in, their goalie showed that they don't just rely on fast attackers to win games. It all changed in the second half with us looking the better side and having most of the possession. We never looked out of the game until their number 4 picked up the ball in his own half and ran through to score the fourth half way through the second half. Even though it was obvious we wouldn't turn the result around after that, the lads kept plugging away until the final whistle so full credit to them. To sum up - we played well but were beaten by the better side on the night but we're not too far behind the top Isthmian Youth League sides in terms of quality and commitment which is good for the future.
At the moment we don't know the next team we'll be facing. Next batch of fixtures are due out in a day or two.
Away v Croydon 21/11 « Result #98 on Nov 22, 2009, 12:04am »
Match finished 1-1
During the warm up Justin put his back out and was unable to play and his place was taken by Jamie.
Not a great game - really spoilt by the referee blowing for every minor infringement and not letting the game flow.
First half was notable for no shots on target - at either end. In the second half Croydon went ahead from a shot from outside the box struck into the top corner at speed. Camberley had a number of shots but none on target until one of our players was brought down in the box and John Finnieston stepped up and took the penalty and levelled the score in the 91st minute.
We are over there again on Wednesday, 9th December for the Surrey Senior Cup.

Re: Newport Pagnell on 21st Nov 2009 « Result #99 on Nov 21, 2009, 9:52pm »
A workmanlike performance was good enough to take the points against Newport Pagnell today in wet and windy conditions. Both goals came in the first half when Camberley played their better football. The first goal came after 23 mins when a great through ball by Joe Wilson was struck home by Sean Davies. The second goal came after 36 mins when good work by Danny Ker and Rob Lance gave Sean Davies the chance to shoot and collect his second goal when he shot home the rebound from the keeper. 2-0 and that's how it stayed. We had the majority of the possession and created good chances, but in the end no more goals and the game drifted to close at the end. Some good performances in this game especially from Danny, Sean and Rob and the back line who were rarely troubled.
