Alright, so you saw that coming a mile off but I'd just like to advertise a little social gathering - the Farleigh Wallop Social Club.
About farleigh wallop social club
the ‘farleigh wallop social club’ is a different kind of music event set up by the members of popular local beat combo ‘brassneck’.
it happens sporadically at the ‘farnborough masonic centre’, 37 alexandra road, farnborough, gu14 6bs.
each event features quality live indie / pop bands, with a quality soundsystem, great music dj'ed in between the acts by the members of ‘brassneck’, a fully licensed bar and curry available on site. each event will also be compered by the incomparable keith woodhouse from 'delta fm radio'.
The next (well, first) event is on Sunday December 20th and features Julia K, Brassneck and THAT Nadeen White Experience all of whom can be heard on the social club's myspace page - http://www.myspace.com/farleighwallopsocialclub
What it doesn't mention (yet) is that I'll also be doing a bit of the djing between acts but don't let that put you off as, believe it or not, my tastes are quite eclectic and it'll only be for a few minutes inbetween bands anyway.
I know none of you will go, despite the fact there's beer and curry available but at least it's another mention on the internet which may help the old Google rankings.

Well, 'twas a top notch night. Highlight for me was THAT Nadeen White Experience - one of their tracks is on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtlCfvR5VeQ
The sound's a bit echoy but you get the gist.
The singer and double bass player are also in a jazz combo who do a cracking version of Duke Ellington's 'Caravan' - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjWWH8BidLM

That Nadeen White Experience are appearing at Jagz in Ascot on Friday January 22nd. Doors open 8pm, they're onstage at 10pm.
Next installment of the Farleigh Wallop Social Club @ the Masonic Hall in January or February hopefully.
