We have a home game tonight against Colliers Wood, 7.45 ko. Looking forward to this as it's the first time we have come close to putting out the side we would like to ... with players in their right positions

A real game of 2 halves. First half we were by far the better team and we were 2-0 up at half time, even though we didn't take care of the balls as well as we should, nonetheless Nathan didn't have anything to do in goal. We scored after 13 mins when Ashley James made a good overlap down the left winmg and moved the ball on to Jermaine Gumbs who in turn made a pinpoint cross for Gary Pierce to head in at the back post. Our second came after 20 mins when a corner by Danny Fisher crossed the line after a scramble in the 6 yard box and the result was an OG. The 2nd half was differnet game after we were forced to make 2 substitutions at half time due to injury which totally changed the way we had to play and this situation was made worse when we had to make a final change half way through the second half due to another injury. To get to the end without conceding was an achievement and there were positives in the play, especially in the first half. We know there is better to come form the squad, but we are heading in the right direction.

Right there BS it was probably the best 45 minutes seen at Krooner this season even though we seemed a little subdued in the second half we still created a number of chances. Colliers certainly contributed to what was an entertaining game which was played in the right spirit and some good football played by both sides. A good word for the referee who used what seems to be missing now a days, but a bit of common sense by not sending off the lad who handled the ball after it crossed the line for our second goal, well done to him. Sorry but do not no the names but 3. 9. 11 looked very good on the night.
