We lost 1-2 and 9 to 10 on players ! Started well enough , Epsom looked quite tidy across the park and we went a goal down at a messy corner . We came back at Epsom and got a goal back with an individual effort by our No10 . 1-1 at half time . Then the look at me I'm being assessed referee who was booking everything got carried away and spoiled a reasonable game . Epsom went 2-1 up with a worldie , with our keeper playing very well with a stunning save to boot !!!!!! It's always going to be hard with 9 men , but I still think we giving the ball away too cheaply ! And we have to PASS the ball first time or have a shot in forward areas not try and dribble the ball every time !!! This is easy to do in the stand whilst drinking tea !!! 😜😜 no pace down the wings or attacking except from our No10 . 6/10 must try harder !

Different views there splinter. Thought we deserved a point and for me the biggest error form the ref was not sending off our 11 for punching their 7.
Pleased with the effort from 9 so taking that positive forward. Already we are looking a better side without making 7 changes each week.

I thought Epsom deserved the win because if for nothing else they used the width of our pitch to the best advantage when at any time they had a player in a really wide position which any of their midfield was able to pick out, which led to the first sending off, which it has to be said was a bit of a farce as the Epsom player fell over and yelled a bit, therefore conning the ref, which led to a further couple of red cards one for a nasty two footed tackle and then some handbags. However on a positive note our new keeper looked very good and had no chance with the winner which could have won any game at this level and a fair few above.

I thought for the conditions it was a hard fought battle that was on occasions spoilt by some tempers taking over. The ref did miss a vital decision if not two or three. We must learn to settle on the ball better and start using the width of the pitch to greater effect. I am sure if we can stop all the chopping and changing of players each game and bring on a team that can play together for a few games and start a good bond we may just get that feelgood factor back at the park.
