The Camberley Town Football Club Supporters Club Friday Club (now that is a mouthful) had their Christmas party last Friday and it has to be said and I think I'am speaking for every one that attended it was a complete success, thanks indeed to Mick Horler who put so much work into the evening and also to Russell who managed to get us what was a superb Band for the night in the Stylettes as usual great fun was had by all including the Club Chairman and his wife long may it continue. Why not pop along on a Friday between 5pm and 7pm for a chat and a bit of a moan, Trotski loves it.( sorry I mean Ian Leverett)

Been once Mike and that was enough for my liver to say never again.
I would like to thank Mick for sorting the club for the U14 Raiders to have a Xmas bash today. Maybe people dont realise but it is a community club. It may not come and find you but if you look it is there waiting for you. Thanks Mick
Even bumped into Trotski who I think may have offered me a beer !

Spot on GB it is a community club that has a long tradition of looking after our youngsters as well as our old timers and long may that continue, it has to be said without Mick and his helpers the club would in my opinion really struggle. Sadly the first team are going through a bit of a sticky patch but if we all get behind Dan I'am sure we will pull out of it. Sorry GB but you must be a bit light weight (no pun intended) if you can't cope with a couple of hours at the Friday club, come and give it another try I'am sure you'll enjoy the experience.

Pleased you enjoyed The Stylettes. I knew you'd love them. We're lucky to have a thriving social section which can take our minds off the football for a while. Long may it continue. While I'm here can I just mention that the club has recently passed a cheque for £1000 onto Disability Initiative who are the current recipients of our looose change etc. We've raised thousands for Help For Heroes, the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice and Disability Iniative in the past few years which makes me proud to be associated with the club. Well done everyone.

Well said VP the club does have a thriving social section despite many obstacles, but just to mention that we have passed on up to £5,000 to Help for Hero's, Phylliss Tuckwell and Disability Initiative in the last few years, with virtually no publicity whatsoever from our local tome despite numerous emails, letters, phone calls and photos sent in, felt a bit sorry for the Disability Initiative lady who was a delight, when she said that she would be contacting the Camberley News to let them know we were about to hand over £1,000.00 did'nt like to tell her that sadly they would not be interested once she mentioned it was coming from Camberley Town F C Supporters Club. Sad really if we were someone who shaved his head for a few hundred in Aldershot or Farnborough it would have been front page news. No Disrespect intended to those fine people just a matter of fact.
