Second game in a row where we haven't put the finish on our better play in the match. This was Taplow's 1st team and in the first half we dominated play and we were rightly 2-0 up at half time. However we only had 11 players for this game and fatigue played a part and the final score was 3-3 with them scoring a very fortunate goal in the last minute. Their other goals were a needless penalty and a quick free kick before the defence was set ... without those very basic errors the game was ours. Our goals came from Jay Warden after good work by Danny Fisher and 2 from Tom Booth, both well taken and with good work by Dollard Zola to set up the second one, beating 3 defenders. Overall a decent fitness workout without subs but we want to see the game raised for the last friendly against Bagshot on Wednesday.
