Second league fixture tonight and it should be an interesting one as there are ex-Camberley personnel involved for the opposition. We are at home to Frimley Green, 7.45 ko. Come on down and give the ressies your support if you can.

A good first home performance by the ressies against local rivals Frimley Green. The first half wasn't as good as Saturday, but the second half was, but that said, we were the better team overall and worthy winners. From the start we had more of the possession but we managed to gift them a goal after 21 mins against the run of play, however, we didn't let that distract us and 3 mins later good work by Sam Slater and Jake Meade on the edge of the Frimley penalty area gave Luke Taylor the opportunity to strike home a great shot and level the score. On the half hour Sam forced his way into the penalty area and was brought down, Luke stepped up and should have improved our score, but ex-Camberley keeper James Muir dived the right way and saved. So, half time, scores even. The second half needed a good start and in our first attack Luke clipped a great left foot cross for Freddie Kelsey to head home, a good goal to make it 2-1. From that point our performance grew and after 58 mins Jake Meade had a good looking goal disallowed, but eventually, after 74 mins, our play created the goal that sealed the game when Luke Taylor curled a drive inside the post to make it 3-1. A solid overall team performance with the defence looking firm, restricting their quick forwards to very few breaks and good passing football through the midfield once the game settled down. Well down to all involved. Uxbridge on Saturday!
