We went into this game off the back of 2 good performances and the cliche "a bad day at the office" pretty much covers this result, conceding very soft, avoidable, goals against a team that were no better than anything we've seen so far. We had a changed team, but that's reserve football and the start we made going 1-0 up from a well placed lob by Danny Fisher after 7 minutes and then him having a second disallowed after 20 minutes for a very narrow offside decision, showed we were capable of dictating play. Their first goal came on 25 minutes from a sliced shot that beat everyone and they took the lead just before halftime with a free kick, that seemed to mesmerise everyone. So half time and we were well in the game and should have been able to raise our game to get back into it, but a series of errors in the first 17 minutes of the second half saw Uxbridge take full advantage of our failings and move the score on to 6-2 with our goal coming from Dollard Zola. We changed formation and tried to press the game and didn't concede any more but the game had gone. Put it behind us and move on to another home game next Saturday.
