Decent Game too. Ashford took an early lead up the slope but the 1st half was very even. Whatever was said in the dressing room worked as the team came out and dominated possession up te slope. Equalised after 58 mins before going down to 10 due to injuries. Nothing was going to stop them though and a great finish by the sub towards the end was reward for the hard work the team put in. Thought our 5 was man of the match and the young keeper looked assured as well. Enjoyable game and well done the Reserves, And just in case anyone was taking pic I made the crowd in the 30's

Excellent win today and well deserved, even playing with ten men for the last quarter of an hour, overall we deserved it and with the first team winning at Hanworth Villa a very good weekend.

Hard work this game. We started well enough and were the better team up to the 14min when Ashford scored a breakaway goal that looked distinctly offside . From that point, until the last 10 mins of the half we managed to lose our shape and momentum, only covering for that last part when we put some purpose back into our play, applying some pressure and Steve McDonald hitting the bar with a great strike. So, 1-0 at half time and plenty to talk about ... We started the second half as we had finished the first and after 58 mins Dollard Zola scored emphatically from Aaron Woodger's pass from 10 yards. We deserved that on the run of play and our confidence grew and for the rest of the game we were the better team. After 75 mins we had a problem when Jay Warden was carried off with a badly sprained ankle (we think). Having already used our only sub we had to play the rest of the game with 10 men, but we continued to work hard and with only 1 min of normal play left that sub, debutant youth striker Hassan Khan scored a great shot on the end of good play and a pass from Alec Wade Overall this was a messy game that we could easily have lost, but we managed to get our act together without conceding a 2nd goal before half time and dragged the game back in the second half, which showed the good side of our team spirit and better organisation and discipline on the pitch. A good 3 points against a team that has been doing well.
