A game where I think we were worth at least a point, but in the end too many square pegs in round holes in a much changed squad, with only on sub made it very difficult at times. But credit to the team for their efforts in windy conditions. We had as much possession as Molesey and created as many opportunities, had a poor offside decision when Marcus was in on goal, and should have had a penalty, but in the end we lost it in the last 5 minutes. We took the lead after 27 mins when youth player Hassan Khan got his second goal in his first 2 senior games with a cool striker after good work by Marcus Cousins on the right of the penalty area. We needed to improve our possession and passing in the second half and generally that happened but Molesey drew level after 58 minutes against the run of play when we didn't close their midfield player strongly enough. After the goal we kept pressing forward and Molesey kept counter attacking and in the end maybe if we'd been a little more conservative near the end they might not have scored the break away late on ... Overall the players can't be doubted for effort and some decent football, but this was always going to be difficult with the so many players playing out of position and in the end we couldn't quite pull it off... but they gave it great try.
