An appalling pitch meant that neither side was going to find it easy to play decent football and the game turned into one where the ball was in the air as much as on the ground, which didn't make for great viewing. We had more of the possession and created more, but their keeper had a good night, keeping them in the game on 2 or 3 occasions. The game got more verbally fractious as the time went on and the ref brandished 7 yellow cards, including 2 to Bobby which left us with 10 men, but also they ended with 10 as well! In the end the real action that mattered was in the last 15 minutes of the match. On 79 minutes we took the lead when Tom Booth beat three players on the halfway line and passed to Zac Hawker whose lofted pass found Perry Coles to head home. Unfortunately with only 2 minutes of the 90 left we conceded from a near post scramble that lead to a Zac OG to level the scores. But we weren't finished and two minutes into added on time Zac made amends by scoring from a flick on by Bobby Dormer from Perry's corner. Great team spirit in this performance even though it wasn't a great game. 4 wins in a row in midweek is a good achievement. Well done to all the players who have made themselves available for these games and the performances they have put in.
