Congratulations to Molesey good luck.
rough and ready display again . With DJ and Nick not playing our passing left a lot to be desired ? Motm Gary Ausberry which says a lot .

Really poor 1st half and we were lucky to be level. Much better 2nd half until we scored when we then dropped back and allowed Molesey to equalise. Their keeper was sent off 2 minutes in but we failed to capitalise on that eventually going down 3-2 on pens.
thought Burchie was MoM at CB and how we ended with 4 yellow cards to their 1 I will never know !

I liked the way Molesey tried to get the ball down and try to play football , I hope they get the rewards for that . I understand that as a team you should play to your strenghs so it was interesting that the ball spent a lot of time flying through the balmy skies when we had it ?! Not privy to the mind set of the 3 or 4 coaches we have , what was the game plan ? When Dormer ran off we ended up with Slater and Freddie as our pacey wide players , there was a lot of space why not give Milky a go ? Did he not run the length of the pitch and score last time here . Our Keeper kept us in it .We made it a battle again .At least it wasn't 3 pts lost , Bedfont Saturday more yellow cards '!!! DJ and Nick back Saturday ??

All of the above have valid points in my opinion. But I think the management team used last nights game as an opportunity to give the fringe players a run out and to see what they can do. In the main I didn't think it was too bad, we battled well. Molesey were more adept at playing into feet and their quick wingers were always a threat, especially there 11 who I thought was very good. Unfortunately we seemed rushed and basically wacked the ball in the air for players to deal with it. Hence we could not hold anything up front and they gained control and came straight back at us. We need to play into feet a bit more and relax on the ball. We must also stop the moaning when something doesn't quite come off.
