Won 2.1 with a goal a piece from Brad and budders. Colliers went one up from a cracking goal by their centre forward with 3 of of defenders cheering him on to have a shot !!! We had a much better 2nd half and pressed the ball a bit more . Nice to see our right back and milks forming a few good moves . I think everyone dug deep and got a result . Thought our captain for the day was little shoddy but again had a better 2nd half pressure must have got to him . Dj was taken off to Frimley with a gashed head from an elbow which resulted In a red card for their centre forward .my best wishes . Welcome back to Brad with a goal ! Solid performance from Gary in goal !

Really enjoyed the game and thought both sides gave it a good shot.
Good to see Brad back doing what he does best. Don't know why you left son.
Great goal by CWU but what a heard from Matt to win us the game !!
Seen 4 games and I have enjoyed how we have tried to play football at the expense of a result business.
Great choice for our skipper. I didn't hear him once !!
Best wishes to Dan.

My first game of the season, after watching the great unbeaten run from last year. Couple of things i noticed. CWU set up to hit on the break but not get beat. Having two holding midfielders made it hard to get balls to the forwards feet and a congested midfield. From what i saw Camberley showed no passion or heart in the first half trying to play football. In the second half they used the ball over the top to turn CWU defence. It worked and put a lot of pressure on them. Last seasons unbeaten run was also based on those tactics and they came 2nd. Why try and fix something thats wasnt broken. Dont get me wrong i prefer good football but if the players struggle with it then use what has been tried and tested, and worked.
Ive read previously on here about the captain. Apart from a poor first half performance, the whole team, he seemed to be encouraging players rather than moaning or slagging them off. In fact i think if he hadnt got in the refs ear to DJ getting an elbow, the ref might not have sent the player off. Hopefully DJ is ok.
