Very entertaining afternoon at Krooner with the first half dominated by Newport with Camberley dangerous on a few occasions, the highlight for us golden oldies was the appearance of our ex player and coach playing up front, to give you a clue it is Grassbanks favourite player, no not Trevor Brooking but none other than Neil Woodyer, and he put in a shift. Newport took the lead with a deflected shot but Camberley hit back with a very good goal from No 10 who beat 3 defenders to the ball and hit a great shot just inside the near post. Camberleys winner came from a long throw and panic in the box resulting in a scramble with the ball somehow ending up in the net. Sorry do not know the name of our No10 but looked a good prospect.

Well done Luke and the boys. Did hear a rumour that the legend that is Mr Woodyer could be appearing back with us.
