At this standard of football we play to have clowns in charge of officiating matches is a disgrace, the officials appointed for yesterday's game were nothing short of an embarrassment! One linesman couldn't run or keep up with play! The other lineman had no idea of the laws of the game if you read this fella here are the laws of throw ins you asked me to look it up so I did and guess what you were wrong again as a foot in play is a foul throw!!
faces the field of play has part of each foot either on the touch line or on the ground outside the touch line holds the ball with both hands delivers the ball from behind and over his head delivers the ball from the point where it left the field of play
And to cap it off the guy in the middle (not fit to be called a referee) was the worst I have seen at any standard. Bringing whatever issues you have at home to a game is poor, one word of advice you earn respect it is not automatically given if you talk down to people in any walk of life you will be treated with the same contempt!

Now normally I would stand up for the officials but for at least 2 of the 3 on Saturday I just cannot.
It is unforgivable to officiate when you are clearly unfit to do the job as with the far side assistant. He should have been honest with everyone and pulled off the game.

So are we saying it was down to the officials that we lost to a team that were relegated last season which was a very surprising and disappointing result.

Sadly Mick it was part of the reason.
Along with our inability to take our chances, the woodwork and their keeper making some decent saves.
We didnt play well but still controlled the games for large parts and had the vast majority of the chances.
However a small part of the blame does have to lay at the officials feet. One asssitant couldnt run because of an injury that he clearly had beofre the game. With 2 minutes to go our players will tell you that the ball clearly went over the line. The assistant couldnt give it because he was about 10 yards off the goal line because of his inability to run.
